Our mission
Learn about Cemetery Revival, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to assisting individuals, families, organizations, and towns in cleaning and maintaining gravestones, preserving family and local history. Funded entirely through donations, we strive to honor the past, one gravestone at a time.

Preserving history
Our ideal customer seeks to preserve their family or local history by cleaning and restoring a single gravestone, a family plot, or an entire cemetery. We provide the expertise and care needed to respectfully restore these important pieces of history.

Our story
Cemetery Revival was founded through a shared interest in family history. It began with Janne, Kathy, Sharon, Rick, and Jackie at the Family Search Center in Plattsburgh. Jackie's work of cleaning veterans' gravestones inspired the group, and the Family Search Center sought a community service project. After learning best practices and the need for proper permissions, Cemetery Revival was born on July 25th, aiming to preserve cemeteries and their history.

A labor of love
We do this as a labor of love, assisting individuals, families, towns, historical groups, and cemetery associations to preserve and restore family and local history. Our dedication and passion set us apart, ensuring each project is handled with the utmost care and respect.
"Cemetery Revival helped us restore our family plot, revealing stories of generations past. We are forever grateful for their dedication and care."
